they can attack by biting anyone who they dont trust. these are very wild animals not to be taken as pets
once when i wad a child one of these young baboons baited my very hard in my leg. and my skin was torn by his bite.

The baboons’ rears look as hairless as humans. I wonder if the Hamadryas baboons are descendants of the Israelites mentioned in Qur’an 2:65 and Qur’an 6:163 - whom the Almighty punished by transforming them to monkeys for having profaned and failed to observe the Sabbath.
The ones you're referring to from the Quran had no sons, they were punished so they could not even give birth
@@Alswat100 That’s possible. However, I have yet to see any valid report from the Sources of Islam’s Divine Revelation (such The Qur’an and The Hadith). I will look into it. And if you happen to come across any valid reference, please share it with me.
@@kendarwitz5071 I looked it up and found this Fatwa of Shaikh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen ua-cam.com/video/Bo2Tcnl79VM/v-deo.html He said that those people were punished for their actions and they have no connection to the species we see today not the exact translation but close meaning of what he said. Same Fatwa is said from Shaykh salih al fawzan in this video ua-cam.com/video/6heQW19akcs/v-deo.html
@@Alswat100 I’ve listened to both, and none of them quoted any direct reference from the Divine Sources of Islam concerning the matter. There is one Hadith I’ve come accross in which the Prophet SAAW says: ليس شيء الا وهو اطوع لله من ابن ادم [There is] NOT A THING EXCEPT THAT IT IS MORE OBEDIENT TO ALLAH THAN SON OF ADAM. [At-Tabaranei, Al-Muعjam-us-Sagheer (910)] Based on the above Hadith, if the ones from the Israelites of old whom Allah SWT transformed to monkeys for having profaned by cleverly failing to observe the sabbath continued to procreate and propagate after being transformed, it would be unfair for their progeny to carry on their parents humiliation of being degraded to monkeys (especially when according to the above Hadith, the progeny of monkeys would sure be more obedient to Allah SWT than son of Adam). So, it is best that we leave it at that, and settle with the lesson and moral sense of the narrative, as, surely, only Allah SWT knows best to what really happened to such a past wretched community after HE transformed them to monkeys.
@@kendarwitz5071 I found this interesting Hadith a sahabi asked the same question you asked! روى مسلم (2663) عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رضي الله عنه قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الْقِرَدَةُ وَالْخَنَازِيرُ هِيَ مِمَّا مُسِخَ ؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَمْ يَجْعَلْ لِمَسْخٍ نَسْلًا وَلَا عَقِبًا، وَإِنَّ الْقِرَدَةَ وَالْخَنَازِيرَ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ ) والعقب : الذرية . قال النووي رحمه الله في شرح مسلم : قَوْله صَلَّى اللَّه عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : ( وَإِنَّ الْقِرَدَة وَالْخَنَازِير كَانُوا قَبْل ذَلِكَ ) أَيْ : قَبْل مَسْخ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيل , فَدَلَّ عَلَى أَنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ مِنْ الْمَسْخ اهـ .

This baboon species seem to be much more aggressive towards female's then the other baboon species in Africa.
We have these in Eritrea . Otw from Asmara to Dwarba . They are BOLD . Any food you have in the car is immediately confiscated by them if they can help it .
If one of those things entered my car I would stab it in the face, or slash its hand & arm when it goes to grab food.
